All About Me
Life is about fun times, exploring, discovering and learning. And that’s what I want to do!
I enjoy making new friends, going out and staying in. I’m laid back, easy going, and easily pleased. I prefer the simple hassle-free lifestyle of following your heart and chasing dreams.
Friends would say I’ve got a pretty dry sense of humour, mingled in with complete randomness and a bit crazy. I try and find something funny in all things in life. I’m reliable and dependable, and I’ve always got time for friends.
I live off music. Nothing makes me smile more than some excellent songs. If I didn’t have my iPod around, I’d be lost! I play guitar and piano/keyboard. I’m not great, but getting better by the day, and I’d love to have the confidence to perform at an open-mic night one day!
There’s no way I could tell you what music I’m in to, but things on the “most played” list are stuff by The Aliens, Magic Numbers, Sigur Ros, Green Day, Muse, Regina Spektor, The Beta Band, Beatles, Jonsi, OK Go, White Stripes, Stone Roses, Queen … oh man I could be here forever. Let’s just say my music taste is massive! And I’ll always give anything a listen (maybe except stuff from manufactured groups and/or RnB). If you’re a fellow music freak please say hi, and we can swap music - I love doing that!!
Here’s a stream of thoughts for you. Fun!
I collect hand-written shopping lists people leave behind in super markets. I have a soft-spot for cats. Love listening to live music. I appreciate art. I like cooking. Going to the cinema is fun. The sound of trees in the wind make me happy. I’m always singing a song in my mind, and sometimes out loud when I’m alone. I sometimes play computer games, and code websites. I spend way too much time on YouTube. I sleep listening to music. I love playing guitar. I love accents from Bristol, Wales or Liverpool. Hugging is the best thing ever, and needs to be done more often. I listen more than I talk. I am a vegetarian-vegan hybred and I am against animal cruelty.
This year, I’m going to Burning Man in America. I’m seriously looking forward to it, and at the same time scared senseless - but if I don’t do it now, when will I?!
So, that’s me. Hi!
